MMS-Sound

Description

When you want to use your voice to make a specific sound to call your caretaker.

The MMS Sound  is a switch that can be activated with a sound. Communicating and alerting becomes possible, even when this is thought impossible by everyone!

The sound can be made hy a ‘humm’-sound with the mouth or nose and is adjusted to the exact sound a person can make.  In the event of the right sound the device will be operated.

Alarm: The MMS can be connected to the wireless or wired alarm system of your home, a hospital, institution or hospice. In this way, people who cannot operate a regular (alarm) button can still raise the alarm. Especially people with MS and ALS are already making grateful use of this.

Communication: The MMS has been proving its function for years with a small number of people with Locked-In Syndrome, but has now also been made suitable for anyone with, for example, ALS, MS or another disease that makes pressing a button difficult. The MMS can be used to control a communication tool and thus letters can be written or icons can be selected. For example, the MMS can also be used in combination with our SIDE program the Grid communicator, mindexpress, etc.

Can work in distances up to 6 metres.
Less sensitive to sounds like a car or airplane comming by.
Can also work at a greater distance from the client, allowing them to be set up next to the bed or concealed.

Great for ALS and Locked-In patiënts.
