The MMS FaceMe, like the MMS, is a switch that can be activated with minimal movements. However, this device operates using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a facial recognition camera. Communication and alerting become possible, even when everyone thinks it’s impossible!
The MMS FaceMe uses a camera to detect the client’s face and analyze facial expressions. Movement can be triggered by blinking, raising an eyebrow, twitching a cheek, using a breathing tube, or similar small motions. When the face or entire head moves, the MMS FaceMe detects this and sends a signal to the device that needs to be operated.
One key advantage is that head movement does not interfere with detection. Whether the mouth is open or closed can be detected in different head positions, even from the side.
For other types of use, consider the MMS Sound or MMS.
Alarm Function
The MMS FaceMe can be connected to a wireless or wired alarm system in your home, hospital, institution, or hospice. This enables people who cannot operate a standard (alarm) button to still raise an alarm. It is especially beneficial for people with Locked-In Syndrome and ALS, who rely on this technology.
Communication
For years, the MMS FaceMe has proven its usefulness for a small group of people with Locked-In Syndrome, those who struggle to make voluntary movements, and individuals with severe spasms.
